3561167 - Username Resets to Email For Onboardees on Start Date

Symptom

For onboarding hires, on users start date the username is set to email even after the username has been updated during Manage Pending Hires step

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to Manage Pending Hires
Select Onboarding User
Proceed with Hire and Fill in Username Field
Submit Hire
On Start Date employees username is set to email, and username entered in MPH is lost

Cause

This has been identified as a product defect

Resolution

SAP Engineering team have confirmed this will be fixed in 1H 2025 release.
