Symptom
When transporting reports from one SAC tenant to another, the team access settings are not overwritten. Instead, the new teams are appended to the existing teams in the target system.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud.
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a folder in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Add one story in the folder.
- Share the folder and story with one team and one user in the source system.
- Transport the folder and story to the target system.
- In the source system, change the teams setting for the story in the SAP Analytics cloud folder and transport the story to the target system.
>> Notice that after importing the story into the target system, the newly added team for the story is appended to the team settings instead of overwriting the existing team settings.
Cause
- This behavior is by design.
- When a story is transported, it is transferred along with its associated shared team.
