3561320 - Previous timesheets recorded are not visible in the app 'Manage My Timesheet' when an employee is transferred

Symptom

Previous timesheets recorded are not visible in the app 'Manage My Timesheet' when an employee is transferred or when the employment of the employee is transferred to a different company code.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Standard behaviour.

Resolution

When the 'Manage My Timesheet' app is accessed the employment/work agreement which is active currently is taken. So only the time entries recorded with the current employment will be visible.

In case there are time which has been recorded with the previous employment/work agreement, it will not be visible in the present day because that employment/work agreement is inactive presently. And the timesheet app is taking the active employment into consideration so the time entries recorded with the inactive/previous one is not visible.

The CDS view I_TimeSheetRecord may be used to fetch the timesheet data for the previous employment.
