3561593 - Error: Sufficient Quota is Required for Posting on DD.MM.YYYY on Account XXX

Symptom

  • Administrator Day Closure run has an incorrect affect on Time Account Balance Leading to an error.
  • Additionally, the holiday year A and year B (eg: 2022/2023) are also incorrectly combined and not displayed as separate years in Time Accounts.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center
  2. Go to Regular Tasks view
  3. Select Administer Day Closure Runs
  4. Choose All Employees day closure ID
  5. Select Application Log: ABC
  6. Notice that error: Sufficient quota is required for posting on DD.MM.YYYY on account XXX
  7. Now Navigate to Time Account Balances tab
  8. Under Time Accounts, here the holiday for year A (e.g: 2022) and year B (e.g: 2023) are combined.
     
     

Cause

Manual correction run is not done after changes in the time accounts, which leads to deletion of time account.

Resolution

To correct the merging of Time Accounts, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Navigate to the Employees view.
  3. Search for Employee ID: ABC.
  4. Edit the employee record and go to Time Accounts.
  5. Select the conflicting Time Account.
  6. Navigate to the Basic Data sub-tab.
  7. Under the Undefined Label field, enter the correct date.

To resolve the error "Sufficient quota is required for posting on DD.MM.YYYY on account XXX," follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Navigate to the Employees view.
  3. Search for Employee ID: ABC.
  4. Go to Time Account Balance.
  5. Navigate to the Adjustments sub-tab and update the quota for the days showing the error.
