3561655 - The Maximum Stock Level in Maintain Time-Dependent Stock Levels app is not considered by MRP

The Maximum Stock Level maintained in the Maintain Time-Dependent Stock Levels app is not considered during the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) run. The quantity of purchase requisition/planned order generated by MRP has no limitation.

According to this Help Page, the Maximum Stock Level in the Maintain Time-Dependent Stock Levels app is for informational purposes only and does not affect any processes in Material Requirements Planning. Therefore, it is not taken into account during the MRP run.

If you want to control the purchase requisition/planned order quantity generated by MRP, please use the "Maximum Lot Size" field under the MRP1 tab in the material master data.
