Symptom
Time Accounts are being created automatically after hire, even though the time account type is configured as 'no automation'.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a new employee in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Check the time account types created automatically during the hire action.
- Observe that some time account types that are not supposed to be created automatically are present in the time information of the employee.
Resolution
When hiring users with time information included or when adding it directly to job information, all related time accounts will be created automatically, independent of the 'Account creation automation' setting. From the following year (or the next time account) onwards, the creation of time accounts will follow the 'Account creation automation' setting.
