3563023 - Custom MDF Object cannot be added on the Configure People Profile after enabling the Latest People Profile

• Some Custom MDF Objects are not visible when trying to add a new custom MDF card in Configure People Profile after enabling the Latest People Profile. 
• Custom MDF Object cannot be added on the Configure People Profile with the Latest People Profile.

1. Log into the instance.
2. Navigate to Configure People Profile and select an existing category or create a new one.
3. Click on Add Card and for the Object Type, select Custom MDF Object.
4. Observe that some of the custom objects are not visible.
5. Under Custom MDF Object picklist, there are other custom MDF objects that are not visible on the picklist.

As a prerequisite for Custom MDF Object in the Latest People Profile, Custom MDF Objects must be marked as Secured = Yes on the object definition. Documented here on MDF Configurations for Latest People Profile:

• If objects are already marked as secured no action is needed but if the object isn't marked as secured please change those and grant permission to the users accordingly

In addition, objects with ExternalCode set to a type other than User will not appear in the dropdown. Please see KBA 2581094 - MDF Screen ID not appearing in Configure People Profile after UI Configuration 

Finally, if the MDF Screen ID has already been added to another Full Profile Category, it will not appear in the "Object Name" picklist when trying to add a new custom card to a different category. The latest people profile only supports a 1:1 mapping between MDF UIs and portlets. 

Ensure that the custom object is set as Secured = Yes in the Configure Object Definition page. 

Please also note that only objects with ExternalCode type User will appear. 

Make sure the MDF Screen ID has not already been added to another Full Profile Category.
