Symptom
The user’s BizX role doesn’t have the “Learning Admin Access Permission”. It only has the “Learning Access Permission” one. Yet, it's possible to access the Learning admin side via the new Learning home page (ILX).
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- First, remove the “Learning Admin Access Permission” of the user’s BizX role. Leave the “Learning Access Permission” one only >
- Access the system > Go to the Learning user side > ILX is enabled > “Dashboards” menu > Click “Learning Administration” > It’s possible to access the Learning admin side.
Resolution
The "Learning Admin Access Permission" only affects the access to the Learning admin side via the “View Learning Administration” quick action on the BizX home page.
If the user has this permission in BizX and has a related Learning admin, the user can see the “View Learning Administration” quick action and get to the Learning admin side.
If the user doesn’t have the "Learning Admin Access Permission", but has a related Learning admin, the “Learning Administration” option will be available on the new Learning user home page via the “Dashboards” menu. This is as per the current system design.
The "Learning Administration" button disappears from the new Learning user home page > Dashboards once the "Related User" info gets removed from the Learning admin record.
