3563087 - Formatting Discrepancies in Email Templates Inserted via Email Editor in SAP Service Cloud

Symptom

  • When an email template is inserted into an email via the email editor in the Service Cloud implementation, the following rendering issues are observed:
    1. A format switch occurs in the first line of the text.
    2. The formatting discrepancy is not present:
      • In the original template document.
      • In the template preview.
      • When the HTML is opened directly in a browser.
  • These discrepancies affect external communication and could leave a negative impression on recipients.
  • Examples of Rendering Discrepancies:
    • Text viewed from the email editor differs from its appearance in the browser preview or email preview, leading to inconsistent formatting.
    • The text of the template may not look identical when viewed from different browsers or screens.
