3563210 - Workflows Remain Visible on Home Screen After Approval in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Symptom

  • When accessing workflows in the SAP SuccessFactors instance hosted on DC22 and DC33, approved workflows remain visible as pending in the approver's queue.
  • This issue occurs across all workflows in the system. Despite approval being completed, the workflow remains displayed in the pending state until the screen is refreshed.

  • Data Center: DC22 and DC33

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the system.
  2. Navigate to the workflow initiation page.
  3. Create and initiate a workflow (e.g., user-initiated approval process).
  4. Log in as the designated approver and approve the workflow.
  5. Observe the workflow behavior:
    • Expected Result: Once approved, the workflow should disappear from the pending queue on the approver’s home page.
    • Actual Result: The workflow remains visible in the pending queue and requires a screen refresh to update the status.
