3563611 - Unable to Transfer Accounting Assignment Reference in SAP S/4HANA Treasury and Risk Management

Symptom

In SAP S/4HANA Treasury and Risk Management, executing transaction TPM28 to transfer the Accounting Assignment Reference is not successful. The issue arises when attempting to reclassify contracts using transaction TPM15M or TPM28.

The error message "Old account assignment reference &1 will be replaced by &2" (E 67184) is displayed, indicating that the old account assignment reference is the same as the new one, hence no transfer is possible.
