3564127 - Error - 'Object Item: Condition: Exercise Price - payment form code must be empty' occurs during migration of Lease Contracts

While trying to import migration template of the Lease contracts with no value in the columns 'Payment forms' and 'Recurrence type' under the tab Conditions for the condition Exercise Price, the system is not allowing to have empty fields and gives error messages.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Lease Contract Management work center.
2. Select the Lease contract sub view.
3. Search for a relevant lease contract and select it.
4. Go to the Leased objects tab --> Conditions sub tab.
5. The error messages will be displayed for all the object items.

• Object Item: Condition: Exercise Price - payment form code must be empty

The condition type - Exercise Price, in the lease contract has the payment form maintained as In advance, which should be empty. This causes the system to display the error messages.

Below are the mentioned steps to import the migration template for the lease contracts without any error.

1. Select the first leased object under the relevant lease contract, and go to the conditions tab.
2. Notice that for the condition type: Exercise Price, the payment form is maintained as In advance or any other forms.
3. Add a row under the conditions tab. This will make the payment form field empty for the exercise price.
4. Save the changes. This should resolve the error for first object.
5. Repeat the same steps for all other objects.
