Symptom
- A Project Stock Order has been created for Consumption at Site.
- The Delivery Status shows "Not Started" with a red cross and does not change with refreshing.
- The same issue occurs if another material is chosen to consume, or a different Project Task is selected.
- The error message displayed is "The source of supply cannot be determined; check the sourcing-relevant master data".

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center.
- Navigate to the Customer Demand view.
- Search for the relevant document, select it and choose the Release button.
- The error message "The source of supply cannot be determined; check the sourcing-relevant master data" is displayed.
Cause
There is no transport lane existing between the relevant transport zone and the Ship-From Site of the project stock order.
Resolution
- Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
- Navigate to Transport Lanes view.
- Choose the New button.
- Enter Transport Zone ID, Ship-From Site ID and other relevant information in the screen.
- Once the information entered is reviewed, activate the transport lane from the Change Status option.
- Save and Close the document.
Once an active transport lane exists, the system will not display the reported error when the availability check is performed for the project stock order.
