3565109 - Datasphere. Remote table imports DATS/TIMS attributes with data type String

In Datasphere, you are importing an entity into a Remote Table object.

The source entity has attributes with data type DATS or TIMS.

In the Remote Table in Datasphere, these attributes appear with data type String(8) or String(6),  instead of the expected data type DATE.

This behaviour is by design.

Data types DATN and DATS always convert to STRING(8) in Datasphere.
Data type TIMS always convert to STRING(6) in Datasphere.
This is by design and cannot be altered.
