3565143 - Need To Create 3 Different Descriptions (Numeric, Alphanumeric & Alpha) And To Have Type Set As Manual

Requirement is to create 3 different descriptions (Numeric, Alphanumeric & Alpha) to create below list of products and the type should be manual. 

E.g.: "1200"; "12W" and "ABCDEF". But the system does not allow maintaining these settings and also does not allow maintaining Manual type for number ranges.

1. Go to Business configuration
2. Select Implementation projects
3. Click on First Implementation
4. Click on "Open activity list"
5. Search for material
6. Open "Number ranges for materials"

Check the set and notice that it doesn't change the scenario, also you cannot change all to be "manual".

The main differentiator is "Automatic" or "Manual". It's only possible to have ONE "Automatic" number range (which the system uses internally to draw a number). But it's possible to have multiple "Manual" number ranges (which can be used additionally by the user to specify a product ID manually).

A possibility is to define 3 disjunct number ranges of which one is automatic and 2 are manual. The System will use the automatic one as default to assign a product ID automatically, but the user can use manually all of them. 

Nevertheless, from SAP side, we do not define number ranges. This has to be done by customer or via or consulting.
