3565219 - Candidate Not Appearing in Dashboard in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

• An error occurs when a user is selected as 'rehire with new employment' in the rehire verification step.
• The user does not appear in the Dashboard anymore.
• The error message in the backend logs is "ECT_HRIS_NEXT_EMPID_NO_UNIQUE_NUMBER".

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Select a user as 'rehire with new employment' in the rehire verification step.
2. Check the Dashboard for the user.
3. Not Available
4. Filtered with processInitiationId=EnterProcessIDHere
5. Clicked on unfinished Onboarding2Workflow
6. Saw under jobs entered exception message
7. Searched this exception message in backend logs

• The error "ECT_HRIS_NEXT_EMPID_NO_UNIQUE_NUMBER" indicates that the system could not get a unique ID at the time the event was triggered.

1. Navigate to Manage Process Tasks.
2. Filter with job id which entered exception message
3. Click on Result.
4. Click Restart Task.
5. Once restarted, the system should try again to assign a user id and this time the id in the company logo and settings page should be unique and the candidate should be sent to the dashboard.
