Symptom

  • Testing Databricks jdbc connection, following error appears: "Communication link failure. Failed to connect to server. Reason: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host terminated the handshake".
  • Opening the connection hostname in browser is failing.
  • Pinging the connection hostname fails.
