Symptom
- You have received a notification mail from SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (former CPI) service, advising that the Baltimore CyberTrust Root Certificate is expiring on 12th May 2025,
where Baltimore CyberTrust Root Certificate is an offering from DigiCert. - You have been advised to review your existing client certificates used for integration scenarios to ensure that they do not rely on this expiring certificate, and in case they are, that you should update these so that they are signed by another trusted certificate authority from the SAP Global Trust List.
- The purpose of this KBA is to provide clarification on the actions required on the customer side in relation to SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration service.
N.B., Baltimore CyberTrust Root Certificate is NOT an Cloud Integration (CPI) owned certificate, and can theoretically appear in any SAP or non-SAP Product.
This article is only relevant with Cloud Integration service.
