3565626 - Notification: Upcoming Expiration of Baltimore CyberTrust Root Certificate

Symptom

You have received a notification mail advising that the Baltimore CyberTrust Root Certificate is set to expire on 12th May 2025. The same is reflected in SAP Note 2801396 - SAP Global Trust List.

You have been advised to review your existing client certificates used for integration scenarios to ensure that they do not rely on this expiring certificate, and in the event that they are, that you should update these so that they are signed by a trusted certificate authority from the SAP Global Trust List.

The purpose of this KBA is to provide clarification on the actions required on the customer side in relation to this.
