3565654 - Is it possible to suppress the warning 'Browser not supported' in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?

Symptom

When viewing a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with a non-supported browser a pop-up message will be displayed. Is it possible to disable this message?

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.01.18 

Reproducing the Issue

View a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with a non-supported browser

Cause

SAC is working as designed to inform users their browser may not work as expected

Resolution

  • Currently the only option is to have the dialog come up once per user and checking the box "Don't show this message again"
  • An enhancement request to be able to toggle this off at a system level can be entered by following the kbase 2424376 which explains the enhancement request process.
