3565676 - Generic Datasource: Wildcard Selection in Datasources is not supported

Symptom

  • The data extraction requires the use of a selection option with a wildcard.
  • The error below occurs when testing RSA3 for datasource using a wildcard in the selection field (e.g. ABC*):
    • Invalid selection options for field xxx
  • Manually change table field ROOSFIELD-SELOPTS to '7' (means 'Selection EQ, BT, CP Permitted'), error still occurs;
