3566028 - Could not allocate memory using Huge Pages on Linux RHEL 9.0 - SAP ASE

Symptom

Huge Pages is configured but ASE is not using it. After upgrading from Linux RHEL 7.0 to Linux RHEL 9.0, ASE started reporting the following error:

kernel Could not allocate memory using Huge Pages. Allocated using regular pages. For better performance, reboot the server after configuring enough Huge Pages.

======

In the Linux RHEL 7.0, using same steps to configure Huge Pages (HP), ASE was able to allocate it normally according to the error log:

kernel Allocated memory using Huge pages.
