3566126 - Issue when transporting structured allocation in SAC

Symptom

  • An error is occurring when attempting to transport a structured allocation in SAP Analytics Cloud. While the transport from the Test Tenant to the development tenant is successful, however, an error message is displayed when attempting to transport it to the production tenant.
  • The error message received is "Couldn't import object 'xxx' A resource with that name and type already exists in the folder."

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.21.14

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into SAC
  2. Go to Transport > Content Network Storage in TEST Tenant > export the structured allocation to Productive Tenant
  3. Go to Productive Tenant and try to import a structured allocation into the PROD system, but the following error message is received: 'A resource with that name and type already exists in the folder'.

Cause

The structured allocation in the TEST Tenant has a different ID than in the PROD System. This means the original file doesn't exist in the PROD System—it's likely that it was deleted in the past.

Resolution

Modify all impacted structured allocations manually.
