3566189 - Blank group and tile cannot be deleted in Homepage

Symptom

An unnamed group with blank tiles cannot be deleted when configuring or adapting the Homepage for some business roles.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Adapt the Homepage for the business role XYZ. (XYZ represents the name of the business role)
  2. Add a tile to a group.
  3. Publish the change and leave adaptation mode.
  4. End users with the role XYZ find an unnamed group and blank tiles on the Homepage.
  5. The admin user tries to delete the unnamed group, but there is no delete button.
  6. The admin user also tries to make the blank tiles unavailable or invisible, but it does not work.

Resolution

The issue is caused by inconsistent data. Please make dummy changes and then delete the group.

  1. Adapt the Homepage
  2. Give the unnamed group the name "TEST".
  3. Publish the changes and leave adaptation mode.
  4. Adapt the Homepage.
  5. Delete the group "TEST."
  6. Publish the changes and leave adaptation mode.
