3566201 - The Delta functionality of the Data Export Service API returns incomplete full data instead of delta data in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• The Data Xxport Service API api/v1/dataexport is in use. For example, api/v1/dataexport/providers/{namespaceID}/{providerID}/FactData?externalid={externalID}.
• The Delta export API mechanism in SAP Analytics Cloud does not work consistently across different models and systems.
• The delta functionality works correctly and fetches delta records with small models (with a limited number of records). However, it fetches incomplete full data set with big models (typically with millions of records).

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Run the data export service API, for example, /providers/{namespaceID}/{providerID}/FactData?externalid={externalID} to fetch the delta data.

The SAC model contains millions of records and getting all data in a single request is not possible. In fact, at the end of the request you should see the following "@odata.nextLink" element. If this element if present, that means that you need to follow that link as described: Pagination of Exported Data | SAP Help Portal.

Once you have extracted the full load of data, the next subscription will be created and you will be able to use the externalid.
