Symptom
When attempting to allocate a Delivery Request, the system displays multiple error messages related to missing identified stock, logistics area, inventory relevance, and permanent establishment.
ABC = Delivery Request ID.
XYZ = Material ID.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Outbound Logistics Woc
- Go to Delivery Proposals View.
- Search for and Click Allocate on Delivery Request ABC.
- Maintain required information, Source Logistics Area ID etc.
- Click Save.
- The user receives the following error messages:
- "Identified stock missing for material XYZ"
- "Material XYZ not valid"
- "Logistics area missing"
- "Inventory relevance setting missing in location hierarchy (KBA: 2073387)"
- "Permanent establishment not determined"
- "Save failed"
- "Inventory process usability for material XYZ"
- "Company for owner not determined; coding block data inconsistent"
- "Owner party in inventory change differs from the company in the header"
- "Planning area not valid"
Cause
The issue occurred because there was more than one logistics area within the site with the logistics use set to 'Project Stock', which led to inconsistencies in the system.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, ensure that only one logistics area is assigned the logistics use 'Project Stock'. After correcting this configuration, the system should function correctly.
