3566531 - 'Process End Date' Not Populated in 'Process' Object in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 - Onboarding

Symptom

In SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, the 'Process End Date' is not populated in the 'Process' object. The 'Hire Status' is updated to 'Hired', but there is no value for 'Process End Date'. This issue occurs even after the new hire's onboarding process is complete and the hiring is also completed in employee central.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Complete the onboarding process for a new hire.
  2. Move the new hire to the Manage Pending Hires page.
  3. Complete the hiring process in employee central.
  4. Check the 'Process' object for the new hire.

Cause

The 'Process End Date' field is not populated because it is not currently used in the system.

Resolution

  1. Use the 'last modified date' for reporting the process end date as the 'Process End Date' field is not populated.
  2. If there is a need for the 'Process End Date' field to be populated, refer the scenario and business to the Influence Portal.
  3. The Product Management team will analyze the case and if successfully voted and approved, it can be implemented in further product releases.
