Symptom

  • After installing SAP GUI 800 (64bit), the execution of ChartDesigner700.exe is not possible.
  • Initial error message: "Component "comdlg32.ocx" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
  • Subsequent error message after resolving the initial error: "Component "sapchartd.ocx" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
