3566757 - Site Address Details Missing in a Location Report

Symptom

  • The data source "SCM_LOCATION" does not provide site address details of the location.
  • The lack of site address details prevents identification of location based on pincode, state, and address.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Navigate to Reports view and find report Location.
  3. Edit with a web browser and apply by entering the required Site ID.
  4. The system does not display address details.

Cause

  • Currently, the data source "SCM_LOCATION" does not contain address details.
  • There is no standard report available to display address details based on location. 

Resolution

  • Address details can be obtained through BO LOCATION, however there is no existing data source from SCM side that can retrieve address details based on location for display on reports.
