Symptom
Users are registered in two classes, and one class has been marked as completed through Record Learning. However, a user is showing as registered in another class of the item, but the corresponding item does not appear in their Learning Assignments.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an Instructor-Led item >
- Scheduled two classes >
- Users are registered in both classes >
- Mark one class as completed through Record Learning >
- The user still appears as registered in the other class of the item; however, the corresponding item does not appear in the user's Learning Assignments.
Cause
This is the current system design.
Resolution
When a user registers for two classes of the same item and one of the classes is completed through Record Learning, the item will be removed from the user's learning plan and moved to their learning history. If multiple classes are scheduled under the same item and a user registers for more than one class, the recommended approach is to mark the class or item as complete only after all classes have been completed.
An enhancement request has already been raised to address this system behavior: Item disappears from My Learning Assignment, even if the user is still enrolled (Request ID: 343072).
