Symptom
Users are registered in two classes, and one class is marked as completed through a record learning. However, a user is showing as registered to another class of the item, but the corresponding item does not appear in their Learning Assignment.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an ILT Item
- Scheduled two classes
- Users registered in both the classes
- One class has been completed through a record learning.
- User still shows registered in an another class of the item, but the corresponding item doesn't appears in user's Learning Assignments.
Cause
This is an expected behaviour of the system.
Resolution
When a user registers for two classes of an item, and one of the classes is completed through record learning, the item will be removed from the user's learning plan and moved to their learning history.
Ideally, it's not best practice to schedule multiple classes in one item. Each class should be scheduled with a separate item. If you do schedule multiple classes with one item and a user registers for multiple classes of that item, the best practice is to mark the class/item as complete only once all the classes have finished.
