Symptom

When attempting to log in via the SAP Cloud portal, an error occurs with the message ‘SHELL_AUTH_LOGIN_FAILED.’ The browser console (accessible by pressing F12) displays the following details:

Unexpected ERROR (code [undefined]). SyntaxError => Unexpected token \r in JSON at position 256

Http failure response for https://eu.fsm.cloud.sap/shell/portal/getAccountSettings: 502 Bad Gateway
