3567259 - How to verify a time entry is made on the employee date of birth

Symptom

You wish to enable a time type that is only valid on the employee birthday

Environment

  • Employee Central Core
  • Time Tracking

Resolution

  1. Go to configure object definitions for time sheet entry
  2. Make correction and add a save rule using the + Icon
  3. Create a rule based on the below template



  4.  The time type and message values are dummy examples from an SAP internal system and should be reflecting your own business scenario
  5. Save the Rule
  6. Add as a save rule to the time sheet entry object definition and save your changes
