Symptom
In Stage Materials for Production app (MF60), the filter by specific production order is not functioning as expected. Despite selecting a specific production order on the selection screen, the app still displays the total requirements for all production orders in the pull list.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the Stage Materials for Production (MF60) app.
- Enter the relevant plant and material.
- Attempt to filter by a specific production order.
- Observe that in the pull list the total quantity displayed is for all production orders, not just the selected one.
Cause
The "Include all requirements" indicator in the Global Settings of the app is set.
This indicator controls whether:
- The system only takes the requirements calculated in the missing parts calculation in the pull list into account which correspond exactly to the selection criteria.
- Or whether the system should also take other requirements into account that influence the missing parts situation.
Example:
In the initial screen, only enter one order. However, other orders also exist that require the same components at the same location.
If you do not select this field, the system only compares the requirements of this one order with available stocks.
If you select this field, the other requirements are also included in the missing parts calculation.
Resolution
Set the "Include all requirements" indicator properly according to the explanation in the "Cause" section.
