3567882 - Runtime error CALL_METHOD_CONFLICT_TYPE in function module READ_TEXT/SAVE_TEXT

Symptom

  • In a custom coding, the Function Module "READ_TEXT" is called with valid values, but an error with the exception "CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE" appears.
  • The Function Module works fine when execute via transaction SE37 with the same values.

An attempt was made to pass an incompatible variable to formal parameter "LINES".
