3567924 - How to kill SAPHTTP.exe process at OS level

Symptom

  • You wish to kill the saphttp.exe, for example if saphttp.exe is suspend mode and causing performance issue in the system.
  • The steps are different depending on OS and whether the saphttp.exe is related to the SAPhttp or SAPhttpa destination.
  • For SAPhttp destination, saphttp.exe will be executed from users Frontend machine.
  • For SAPhttpa destination, saphttp.exe will be executed from SAP Application server.
