3568310 - Error message "Work item is inactive or does not exist." when posting actuals

While posting actuals through app Manage Direct Activity Allocation or creating any supplier invoice where the work package and work item is involved, an error message "Work item <Work Item ID> is inactive or does not exist." is received.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. This could happen because the user is trying to post any kind of actuals using a work item which is either inactive or not assigned to the work package.
2. This could also occur if the work item is not configured in the system.

1. Assign the work work item to the work package.
2. If the work item assigned to the work package is inactive, please make it to active.
3. If the work item is not configured, please configure the work item under the configuration ID 102641 - Define Work Items and Groups.
