3568582 - SAP UI Landscape write access denied.

Symptom

When launching SAP Logon, the following error pops up:

"The operating system denies write access to the SAP UI Landscape file %PATH%\SAPUILandscape.xml.

SAP Logon will be switched into a read-only mode. This prevents you from adding, deleting, changing or organizing most items in SAP Logon."

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP GUI for Windows 800 Patch level 7 or higher.

ABAP PLATFORM - Application Server ABAP.
