3568589 - Customize the email subject and body of DocuSign emails sent to the onboardees - Onboarding

• Is it possible to change the subject and/or body of the notification email sent by DocuSign to the candidates when signing their onboarding documents?
• Customize the email content of the DocuSign email sent to the onboarding candidates.

The emailSubject and body is currently not customized in docusign adaptor. 

WORKAROUND:

The Engineering Team has provided a workaround to update the hard-coded DocuSign Email Messages (SF Keys).

• Using ‘Admin Center -> Manage Languages’ the text for SF-Message keys can be updated.

You can update the Email Subject and Email Body in DocuSign by updating the keys in ‘Admin Center-> Manage Languages’.

PERMANENT FIX: Enhancement OBX-19689

DocuSign uses the saved/customized email text in DocuSign brands only if the email text is not passed in the signing request. The DocuSign adaptor always passes the emailSubject and emailBody in the DocuSign request. As in this case, the email text is always passed by onboarding, and the branding text is overridden.

• The DocuSign adaptor currently does not allow customization of the subject and body of emails.
• An enhancement has been introduced to allow customization of these two fields and to add the capability to apply selected branding to the DocuSign emails.

Since we do not process enhancement monitoring via support ticket, the enhancement internal ticket OBX-19689 can be posted via the SAP Influence Portal. You may seek assistance from your CSM/Account Manager on how this ticket can be posted there for monitoring purposes.
