Symptom

Error : 

The system detected an internal error. Contact your system administrator.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Goto Rewards and Recognition under Action Search
  2. Select Manage Spot Award Programs
  3. Click on one of the listed Spot Award Programs
  4. You will see an error popup : The system detected an internal error. Contact your system administrator.

Cause

This may occur due to the attached images in Spot Awards program / Category / Level

Resolution

  1. Goto Manage Data
  2. Search for Spot Award Program in the first Search box and then search for the specific Spot award Program name in the second search box
  3. Take action - > Make correction
  4. Delete / update the image for the program/ Categories / Levels
  5. Go back to Spot Award Program and select the same spot award program again and see that the error is resolved
