3568742 - Rule is triggered when update jobInfo during Internal Hires/Crossboarding with Rule Context has been set to "No" for Onboarding

• Despite setting the workflow business rules in Job Info (Manage Business Configuration) - Rule Context to "No" for Onboarding, the rule is still being triggered when update jobInfo during Internal Hires/Crossboarding
• Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities >> OFF

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to the onboarding dashboard
2. Select the crossboarding candidate
3. Update job info
4. The rule is triggered

the rule with “ESS/MSS = Yes” 

The rule with “ESS/MSS = Yes” will get executed for Initiate Crossboarding.

If you want to execute rules for ESS/MSS UI’s but not for crossboarding then please review and change the rule conditions to avoid validation errors.

You can set rule context “ESS/MSS = No” if rules are not expected to be executed for Crossboarding or ESS/MSS UI’s.

Or editing the job Info history to avoid triggering the rule by going to the profile of the candidate, navigate to the job information and open the history.
