Symptom

  • When ASE is configured with a non-default / custom optimization goal, other than sap_oltp
  • Patching ASE to version greater than ASE 16 SP04 PL04 using Host Agent
  • The goal is changed to  sap_oltp
    • As a result sub-optimal plans may cause performance issues and slowness
