3568937 - Calculation Input Control (CIC) value changes are not retained in bookmarks in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Dynamic Member based Calculation Input Control (CIC) value changes are not kept in bookmarks within the Story.

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2024.21.7

1. Create a Dynamic Member CIC and use it in calculations on Page 1.
2. Modify CIC values on Page 1 by switching between different values.
3. Create another CIC and use it in calculations on Page 2.
4. Modify CIC values on Page 2 by switching between different values.
5. On Page 2, click Bookmark Current State and save the bookmark, keeping the current page as default.
6. Refresh the page and open the saved bookmark.
7. Navigate back to Page 1 and observe that the bookmarked CIC state is not retained.

The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

• Prior to Patch 2024.21.17, CIC values on Page 1 were not retained correctly when using bookmarks.
• This issue has been resolved in Patch 2024.21.17.
• The issue could occur on any page.
• Since the fix applies to the save bookmark action, any bookmarks created before this patch will not work. Users must create and save new bookmarks for the fix to take effect.
