Symptom

Open SuccessFactors and below pop up show up. 

Error text: "Identity provider cannot process the response due to wrong configuration. Please contact your system administrator."

Cause

Wrong browser Privacy and Security configuration.

Resolution

Allowing cookies

Google Chrome

  1. Open Settings  Privacy and security  Cookies and other site data.

    • Deactivate Block third-party cookies.

    • If you want to keep the setting, enter the Manager URL under Sites that can always use cookies. Select Add and enter the URLs.

      For example: https://webassistant.enable-now.cloud.sap/

  2. Deactivate Block third-party cookies in Incognito.

    • Alternatively, you can deactivate Block third-party cookies every time you open a new incognito window.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Settings  Cookies and site permissions  Manage and delete cookies and site data.
  2. Deactivate Block third-party cookies.

Apple Safari

  1. Open Safari  Preferences...  Privacy
  2. Deactivate the option Website tracking: Prevent cross-site tracking
