3569420 - Error when creating new Billing Items in "Plan Customer Projects" app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• When attempting to create a new billing item for a customer project in the "Plan Customer Projects" app, an error message is returned.
• The error message states: "Resource not found for segment 'SalesOrderItem'".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the "Plan Customer Projects" application.
2. Navigate to the project.
3. Go to the Billing tab.
4. Attempt to create a new billing item with the following details:

• Billing Type
• Material
• Assigned Work Package
• Profit Center
• Amount
• Billing Due Date

     5. Try to save the new billing item.

     6. The system triggers the error message: "Resource not found for segment 'SalesOrderItem'".

• The Sales Order Date (XX/XX/XXXX) does not match the Profit Center validity (XX/XX/XXXX – unlimited).
• The Profit Center was changed after the first X items were created, making it invalid for new items.

1. Extend the Profit Center Validity:

• Adjust the validity start date of Profit Center  to a date before the Sales Order Date.

2. Retry Creating the Billing Item:

• Once the Profit Center validity is corrected, attempt to create the Billing Item again.

3. Verify the Sales Order Date:

• In the "Manage Sales Orders - Services" app, check the Sales Order Date.
• Ensure it aligns with the valid Profit Center duration.
