3569686 - Disparity between Available Stock in Planning and Inventory

• Despite sufficient stock in Ship-from Site, ATP check results in error.
• The Logistics Area at a particular Site/Location has stock sufficient Stock of a Material, however, creation of a new Stock Transfer Order is hindered due to ATP status being RED.
• Available Stock in Product Planning Details shows 0 EA, despite actual stock being present.
• Data Flow Verification Runs show no differences.

SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN

1. Navigate to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Products view.
3. Open Advanced Filter.
4. Enter the relevant Product ID and Supply Planning Area ID.
5. Click Go.
6. Click Open to open the relevant Product Planning Details.
7. The Available Stock shows as 0 ea, despite actual stock being present.

The Logistics area has Logistics Use as "Not Relevant for Planning". This means any inventory change in the Logistics area will not get updated in Supply Planning-> Available stock. This is the reason for the difference in Stock Overview On hand stock and Supply Planning Available stock.

1. Review the Logistics Use settings for the relevant Location/Site and Logistics Area.
2. If the Logistics Area is set as "Not Relevant for Planning", consider changing this setting to ensure stock changes are updated in Supply Planning.
3. Test and confirm the solution.
