Symptom
Class closure times are consistently recorded as round numbers, such as 12:00 a.m instead of reflecting the actual time the class was closed.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Close a class in Learning Administration.
- Check the recorded closure time for the class as seen in below image.
- Notice that the closure time is recorded as a round number, such as 12:00 a.m., instead of the actual closure time.
Cause
- The system does not capture the true closure times of classes.
- When an admin closes a class, they are asked to pick the closed date; the system takes up the admin provided closed date and sets the time to midnight. This is an expected behaviour.
Resolution
- Product Management have confirmed that when an admin closes a class, the system takes up the admin provided closed date and sets the time to midnight.
- If the actual time when the class was closed is required, please submit an enhancement request for product management to review.
