Symptom
- Badge name/title translations in email notifications do not align with the recipient's language preference.
- When an employee from a division that uses a different language sends a badge to another employee from a division with a different language preference, the badge name in the notification email remains in the sender's language. The rest of the notification is translated to the recipient's language.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Proxy as the sender whose default language is not English.
- Click on the profile of the recipient and navigate to the badges tab.
- Send a badge to the recipient, by clicking 'Give badge'.
- Check the email notification received by the recipient.
- Notice that the badge name in the notification is displayed in the sender’s language, even though the rest of the email is in the recipient's language.
Cause
Resolution
Engineering Team has planned to fix it with the release of 1H 2505.
