3570269 - The selected value counter is missing after converted to optimized mode story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

In analytical app which has several input controls for filtering, the number of items selected in the input control can be seen.

After converted this analytical application to optimized story and this counter is not available on the input control.

This counter is visible in both classical story and analytical application, but not in ODE story.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) Version: 2024.21.14

Reproducing the Issue

 

  1. Login to SAC.
  2. Open the converted story.
  3. Notice that no number of items selected in the input control.
  4. But if open the original application.
  5. It is working as expected.

 

Cause

  1. Improve the story performance.
  2. In classical mode story or analytical application, when all members are selected, it will display "All" instead of the actual numbers, only when subset values are selected, the selected member is displayed.

Resolution

This is a designed behavior in ODE story.
