3570425 - 'Bookmark Current State' option is grayed out when the converted optimized story is opened with the classic migrated bookmark in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Creating a bookmark is not possible in an optimized story that has been converted from a classic story when the story is opened with the classic migrated bookmark
• The 'Bookmark Current State' option is grayed out when the converted optimized story is opened with the classic migrated bookmark.

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2024.21.14 

1. Login to SAC
2. Navigate to the Stories
3. Create a story using the Classic Design Experience.
4. Open the story in view mode.
5. Create a bookmark in the story.
6. Convert the story to the Optimized Design Experience by selecting 'Convert to Optimized Design Experience' from the file menu.
7. Open the converted optimized story with saved bookmark.
8. Reopen the bookmark menu and notice that the option to create a bookmark, 'Bookmark Current State' is grayed out.

If you apply a bookmark that was created before the story was optimized, you won't be able to create new bookmarks for that story

To update the bookmark or to include additional functionality (such as Drill, Rank, Sort, and so on), delete the legacy bookmark and create a new one.
