Symptom
- In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, there is a need to transfer existing customer line items (Initial data transfer) from AR to Collections Management so that the items are visible in collection worklists.
- In SAP ECC, a program (FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS) was used to perform this task, however, it is unclear how to perform the same task in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
- Customer credit memos that are cleared keeps showing in the App Process Receivables.
- Cleared credit memos eventually disappear from the app after approximately a week, suggesting a possible backend delay or a scheduled job that takes longer than expected to process them.

Reproducing the Issue
- In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, attempt to transfer existing customer line items from AR to Collections Management.
- Search for a relevant job in collection management jobs but unable to find any.
Resolution
Sending of FI-AR-Relevant Data to Collections Management is done automatically by a background job(FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS) running daily in update mode and weekly run in rebuild mode.
This is a standard system behaviour. There will be an interim period where these credit memos will still show up in the App Process Receivables. After the next run of the rebuild invoice memory, the entries should be gone.
