3570606 - Error: "No currency pair is defined for currencies USD JPY" in Cash Trade Request (FX) - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • An error occurs when creating a memo record> Cash Trade Request (FX) : "No currency pair is defined for currencies USD JPY"
  • The error persists despite the "Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation" settings indicating that USD and JPY are set.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Manage Memo Records (F2986).
  2. Choose Memo Record/... > Cash Trade Request (FX).
  3. Enter the parameters as shown in the attached capture and press the button.
  4. Error occurs.

Cause

Error message raised by the lack of configuration for matching between currencies.

Resolution

Go to configuration step "Define Leading Currency" SSCUI ID "101026". For configuration related details refer the configuration help.
